Coaches
Jeff returns for his twenty-sixth season as our head coach with many exciting ideas for fun swim team activities. Jeff is a graduate of Ygnacio Valley High School and U.C. Berkeley. He also graduated from the film program at Academy of Art College. Jeff swam for the Las Juntas swim team, Ygnacio Valley High School swim team, and was a member of Ygnacio Valley High School’s boy’s water polo team. In high school, he participated in the Terrapin Pre-Senior 2 program. After graduation, he coached the Ygnacio Valley High School swim team and was an assistant coach for their water polo team. He helped get Concord High’s inaugural water polo season off the ground in fall of 2003. He was an assistant coach for Valley Vista swim team in 1999 and head coach at Forest Park since the year 2000. He is in his 11th year as head coach of Northgate High School Swim Team. We look forward to Jeff returning this season!

Coach Lucia spent most of her life swimming at Forest Park with her family. She swam in highschool at Corondelet before heading off to college to get her teaching credential. She coached at Northgate High, and for other local rec teams, before returning to her childhood pool. She runs the mini-flyers program and coaches at our clinics.
Coach Lily Sawyer has been swimming competitively since age 10 and currently competes at the Division I level for UNC Chapel Hill. This past spring, she raced at the NCAA Championships as part of UNC’s relay team. She is excited to bring her experience and energy to Forest Park Swim Team.

Saylor began swimming at Forest Park as a mini-flyer from 4-6 years of age. She then went to swim year-round for 8 years. She swam and played water polo at Carondelet High School. She currently attends the University of Colorado at Boulder as a rising sophomore. She coached for Forest Park in 2022 as swimmer coach but has since returned this year as a deck coach!
