At Forest Park, we strive to make our dues affordable for all families.  Dues must be paid in full by Saturday, May 24, 2025, or an additional $50/swimmer fee will be incurred. All dues must be paid in full by June 30, 2025, or the applicable swimmer(s) will not be allowed to continue on the team. Swimmers are allowed a one-week trial period with the team before all obligations are due.

Each fee is described in detail below.

**There is no fundraising requirements for the 15-18 swimmers, but the Splash Fee and Late Registration Fee may be applicable. 

The team requires each family that has a swimmer on the team under the age of 14 to fulfill certain work requirements. Since the number of these jobs each family has to do is based on the total number of families on the team, the exact number will be announced in early May. 

Separate from your registration fee we request a $600 check to act as your work deposit. If the family fulfills the work obligation, that check will not be cashed. The check will be used for the following penalties:

• First missed job obligation - $100
• Second missed job obligation - $200
• Third missed job obligation - $300 and family swimmer(s) cannot race.

A person signed up for a job must sign in at the job desk 10 minutes before their shift. There is a 10 minute grace period, but after that a tardy will be recorded. Two tardies will be treated as one missed job.

Because the cost to run the swim team exceeds the amount collected from swim team dues, an additional

$150.00 of fundraising must be earned for each swimmer up to a maximum of $450 per family. Fundraising applies to all swimmers below the age of 15. Fundraising dues are collected at registration and are returned to families if fulfilled. The deadline for fundraising is July 15th. Fundraising opportunities are briefly outlined below, but more information will be available as the season progresses.

1. SWIM-A-THON: This is our biggest fundraiser and all swimmers are encouraged to participate! All participants will receive an incentive prize for participating, and additional prizes based on the total amount raised for each swimmer. Each swimmer collects sponsorships from friends and family and then swims laps for a specified period of time based on their age. At the end of the event, funds are collected from sponsors. All funds will be applied against a family’s fundraising obligation.
2. Raise Right: Raise Right is an app that allows participants to purchase gift cards/scrip from hundreds of retailers, and a percentage of the purchase is donated back to the team. The app can be downloaded from the Apple or Play stores. The enrollment code for FPST is: H19GLU75LSCQ

The Forest Park Swim Club is the entity that owns and operates the pool. They sell memberships that allow families to come and enjoy the pool. The Swim Club allows the team to have practices, meets, and social events at the pool, but in return they ask for the team to contribute to the upkeep of pool. To that end, they request that swimmers who are not already members of the club pay a Splash Fee.

Swim Team members that are not Swim Club members are only allowed to use the pool and facilities for practice and Swim Team events.  Swim Club  membership to the pool is $670 for the season, approximately April – September.

Mini-Flyers is designed for the purpose of preparing young children and new swimmers to advance to the swim team. Mini-Flyer coaches will work with up to 3 children at a time. All potential Mini-Flyers will need to attend a tryout before the season starts. Tryouts are will be held in early April. Mini-Flyer registration and dues are the same and they participate in all of the same activities as the rest of the Swim Team except for the following:

• Mini-Flyers are not required (but encouraged!) to fundraise. At registration use MINI, MINI2, or MINI3 code to remove the fundraising deposit for one, two or three mini-swimmers. 
• Mini-Flyers are not required to fulfill job requirements unless they join the team, and then their job requirements will be prorated for the remainder of the season.
• Mini-Flyers will not be assigned buddies unless they join the swim team.
