Hi Flyers Families, 

A quick congrats to all the swimmers who put in hard work this past weekend at the Devil Mountain Pentathlon. There were many popped times, several top 8 A & B division individual awards, and a new pool record (more details later this week). Top 5 teams received a trophy, and we placed 5th! A BIG THANK YOU to the parents who timed & did Stroke and Turn! Here's important news for this week, June 15–20: 

PRACTICE: NO practice for all ages, Friday, June 19, due to Team Photo (8:45 am arrival - Team & Mini Flyers) & Movie Day (see more info HERE). Looking ahead: NO practice June 29 due to Team Beach Day. 

LESSONS: Coach Jeff & Coach Lucia are both giving lessons now. To sign up, go to our team home page and click on buttons on right column. Lessons with Coach Joe will also be available there soon. 

MEET, Wednesday, June 17, 5:30 pm: AWAY @ Bishop Estates, 1812 Jefferson Street, Concord; If not attending, must sign out today by noon on our team website. If after noon today, email Coach Jeff, jeff.mellinger@gmail.com AND Amy, Meet Director, [email protected]). 

• FPST warm-ups: 4:55–5:25 pm
• Timers seated: 5:15 pm; Timing chairs will be labeled "Visitor" for our team. 
• Meet starts: 5:30 pm
• Ribbons Volunteer: Report to the computer desk after the IM events are completed.

TEAM AREA (See attached photo): Our team area is located on the far side of the pool near the trees (opposite the entrance) and extends to the middle of the lawn up to the flag poles. Please clean up our team area before departing

8 & U SWIMMERS: We will have a portable canvas mat marked with heat/lane for 8 & U to line up on (look for a flag - FPST 8 & U - designating the area where swimmers will line up). Parents, please bring your swimmers to the canvas to line up. Shepherds are responsible for bringing swimmers to the blocks but should not have to search the pool for them to line up. Thank you for your cooperation. 

FOOD: The Snack Shack will open at 4:30 pm and accepts Cash or Venmo @Bishopswim (no credit cards). Kona Ice will be onsite for the duration of the meet and will be located outside of the entrance.

• Book photo session your individual/sibling/buddy (one per family) 
• Buy your ticket for Team Movie day (Toy Story 5) - Only 13 tickets left
• RSVP for Buddy Night and sign up for a job to earn points (We have lots of parent volunteer openings - it's a fun night; Ages 5 and under must be accompanied by a volunteering parent; this is a swimmer-only event for ages 6 and up unless parent is volunteering).
