Can't believe we're already one week into July. Lots of exciting things happening so make sure to read to the end: 

Pop Up Invitational: Things are lining up, and we are excited for our team to host this coming Sunday, July 12!

Pop Up JOBS: To make this meet a success, we are having all participating swimmer families volunteer regardless of swimmer age or jobs requirement.

• We are working quickly to reach out to some of you to fill specific roles that require more experience or previous training.
• We hope to have general job sign ups available by tomorrow evening (July 7), but thank you in advance for your patience if sign ups are not ready until Wednesday (July 8).
• Sign up by Friday, July 10, 5 pm. Families not signed up will be assigned a jobs slot.

AWAY Meet vs. Martinez Community, WED, 5:30 pm Start | Warm Up, 5:00 pm
Location: Rankin Aquatic Center, 100 Buckley Street, Martinez

• Deadline to sign out is past. Please email both Coach Jeff, [email protected] and Amy, Meet Director, [email protected] if you cannot make it on Wednesday.
• PARKING: PLEASE OBEY THE NO PARKING SIGNS AND RED ZONES. DO NOT BLOCK RESIDENTIAL DRIVEWAYS. THE MARTINEZ POLICE DEPARTMENT WILL BE PATROLLING THE AREA AND TICKETING AND TOWING VEHICLES.
• FPST Warm Ups: 5:00-5:25 pm
• Wednesday PM Meets- No Free Relays
• Time Drops Live code: 2026.
• TEAM AREA (see attached map):
  • Visiting teams may set up along the north and east fence, from the area of the shallow entry steps to the diving board. Please refer to the picture below. Due to the frequency of high winds, pop-ups and tents MUST be anchored or tethered.
• All timers & recorders for both teams are required to mute electronic communication devices during the meet, AND NO CELL PHONES OR CAMERAS ARE PERMITTED BEHIND THE BLOCK.
• THE SHALLOW ENTRY STEPS, PLAY POOL, AND DIVING WELL ARE OFF LIMITS DURING THE MEET
• SNACK BAR: The Otter Cafe offers a variety of hot & cold meal & drink options, as well as the usual assortment of goodies. We accept cash and credit cards.

LOOKING AHEAD: 

• Torture Week (double practices): Ages 11 & Up, July 6-10 | Ages 10 & Under, July 13-17
• July 11, Swimmers ages 11-14 event - Scavenger Hunt 
• Waterslide Day, 11 am, Hurricane Harbor: July 20 (No practice), see attached flyer. Swimmers need to purchase tickets on their own. More details coming soon.
